Housley
Dan (3/7/47 - 5/31/12), 65, beloved husband of Nancy Housley, father of Stephanie Housley (Chris Lacinak), Charles Housley, Ben Housley, stepfather of Jenny Kimball and Mark Kimball (Olivia Kimball). Brother of Victor Mize, Doug Mize, and the late Genie Sue Morris. Son of Clinton Mize and the late Edith Mize. Dan proudly served in Co. C, 4th BN, (M) 54th INF of the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. During his service he received two purple hearts. A dedicated master carpenter, Dan started Housley Homes Company in 1980 with a belief in building homes with integrity and authenticity. Dan leaves a legacy of beautiful custom homes throughout the Cincinnati area. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 5, 5-8 pm; funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 6, 10 am both at First Baptist Church of Glen Este. Memorials in Dan's name may be made to The First Baptist Church of Glen Este 1034 Old S.R. 74 Batavia, OH 45103, and will be put towards the new church addition. |
